S18SP6DQPMA Description
Banner Engineering S18SP6DQPMA is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 DC series designed in a diffuse mode with a thermoplastic housing, acrylic lens, and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The S18SP6DQPMA has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M18 thread size. It includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), a sensing distance of 100mm, and operates with infrared (IR) light at a wavelength of 880 nm. The sensor's response time is 3ms / 0.003 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
