S18RW3L Description
Banner Engineering S18RW3L is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 AC series designed in a retro-reflective mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 250Vac (with nominal voltages of 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The S18RW3L offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. Its design includes an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, and it is equipped with one digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type). The sensor has a sensing distance of 2m and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 950 nm. It features a response time of 16ms / 0.016 s and operates in a Dark-ON mode.
