S18AW3DQ3 Description
Banner Engineering S18AW3DQ3 is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 AC series, designed in a diffuse mode with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It is pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 20Vac-250Vac (200Vac / 220Vac / 240Vac nom.) and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The S18AW3DQ3 features a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M18 thread size. It has one digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), a sensing distance of 100mm, and operates with infrared light (IR) at a wavelength of 880 nm. The response time of this sensor is 16ms / 0.016 s, and it operates in a Light-ON mode.
