S18AW3DQ Description
Banner Engineering S18AW3DQ is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 AC series, designed in a diffuse mode with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It features a pre-equipped 5-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity and operates on a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 250Vac, with nominal values at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. This sensor is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures from -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. The S18AW3DQ has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output with a solid-state AC output and SPST contact type, and offers a sensing distance of 100mm. It utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 16ms (0.016 s). The operating mode for this sensor is Light-ON.
