S186EQDP Description
Banner Engineering S186EQDP is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the S18 DC series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic with a polycarbonate lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The S186EQDP operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. With a sensing distance of 20 meters and an infrared light color, the sensor operates with a response time of 16ms (0.016 seconds) and a wavelength of 950 nm. The thread size for installation is M18.
