S183EQ Description
Banner Engineering S183EQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the S18 AC series. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic body with a polycarbonate lens. It features a pre-equipped 5-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. The S183EQ operates on a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 250Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The S183EQ has a sensing distance of 20 meters and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm for detection, ensuring precise operation. The thread size for mounting is M18.
