R55ECG1 Description
Banner Engineering R55ECG1 is a color registration mark sensor from the R55 Expert series, designed for precise sensing in automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and features a convergent mode with parallel sensing and image TEACH mode for enhanced functionality. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. The R55ECG1 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal, to function effectively. The sensor's rectangular shape is constructed from a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with an Acrylic lens, ensuring durability. It has a sensing distance of 10mm and utilizes visible green light with a wavelength of 525 nm for detection. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, and it is equipped with 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) for signal processing.
