R55FP Description
Banner Engineering R55FP is an amplifier for sensors, specifically designed for color contrast fib. optic sensor amplification within the R55F series. It features a DIN rail mount for easy installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The design incorporates TEACH mode functionality for glass fiber optimization and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for convenient connection. This part offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc. The R55FP has a rectangular shape, constructed from a thermoplastic housing, and is capable of sensing distances up to 60mm with visible red light. It includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 50μs / 0.00005 s.
