QT50R-US-AFHQ Description
Banner Engineering QT50R-US-AFHQ is a collision-avoidance adjustable-field radar sensor designed with a time-of-flight system and is approved for use in the US, Canada, and Brazil. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +65 °C and is housed in an ABS/Polycarbonate (PC) material, ensuring durability. This sensor is part of the QT50R-AFH series and features a rectangular shape with a pre-equipped 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It offers a sensing distance of 3.5 to 24 meters and supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) operating modes. The QT50R-US-AFHQ operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and includes one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is designed with protection functions against reverse polarity and short-circuit, and it is rated with a degree of protection of IP67, making it suitable for various industrial applications.
