QT50R-US-AF2Q Description
Banner Engineering QT50R-US-AF2Q is a dual-zone collision-avoidance adjustable-field radar sensor designed for a wide range of industrial applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +65 °C and is built on a time-of-flight system that is approved for use in the US, Canada, and Brazil. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. As part of the QT50R-AF2 series, it features an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Its rectangular shape is constructed from ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) housing, ensuring durability. The QT50R-US-AF2Q offers a sensing distance of 3.5 to 24 meters and includes operating modes of NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed). It is equipped with 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) and includes protection functions against reverse polarity and short-circuit, enhancing its operational reliability.
