Banner Engineering QS18VP6XLP is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for clear object detection. It features an M18 threaded mount and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. Part of the QS18 clear object detection series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The QS18VP6XLP operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic body with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It has a sensing distance of up to 3m and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 625 nm. This sensor supports Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, and features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.4ms / 0.0004 s.
