Banner Engineering QMT42VP6DX is a long-range photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and features a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. Part of the QMT42 series, it boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with an Acrylic lens, suitable for demanding applications. The sensing distance ranges from 10cm to 6m, utilizing infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes for versatile application use.
