QMT42VP6DXQ Description
Banner Engineering QMT42VP6DXQ is a long-range photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and features a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. As part of the QMT42 series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with an Acrylic lens, capable of sensing distances from 10cm up to 6m. Utilizing infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm, it offers Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The QMT42VP6DXQ features a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s.
