Banner Engineering QMT42VP6AFV400 is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for precise object detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. Part of the QMT42 series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with an Acrylic lens, ensuring durability. The sensing distance ranges from 25 to 400mm, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 680 nm for detection.
