Banner Engineering QMT42VN6AFV400Q is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy integration into existing systems. Part of the QMT42 series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with an Acrylic lens, capable of sensing distances from 25 to 400mm. The sensor emits visible red light at a wavelength of 680 nm and can operate in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. It features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s.
