Banner Engineering QM42VN6AFV150 W/30 is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment for glass fiber. It comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. Part of the QM42 series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 42 mm in height, 13 mm in width, and 42 mm in depth. Its die-cast Zinc alloy housing and Acrylic lens are designed for durability, and it features a black housing. The sensing distance ranges from 5 to 150mm, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 680 nm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s.
