Banner Engineering QMH26EPXLPC-5M is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30 to +70°C and features a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. It is FDA compliant, suitable for washdown environments, and has a hygienic shape, making it ideal for food and beverage industry applications. The sensor comes pre-wired with a 5-meter cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. Part of the QMH26 series, it offers an IP69K degree of protection against ingress, making it highly resistant to dust and high-pressure water jets. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The sensor's rectangular shape is constructed from stainless steel housing and Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. It has a sensing distance of up to 2.6 meters and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 620 nm for detection.
