Banner Engineering QM42VP6R is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This sensor is part of the QM42 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. The QM42VP6R has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 42mm in height, 13mm in width, and 42mm in depth, and is constructed from a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with an Acrylic lens. The housing is black, and the sensor can detect objects up to 10m away using infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s.
