Q5XKLAF2000-Q8-JAM Description
Banner Engineering Q5XKLAF2000-Q8-JAM is a Class 2 laser adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection with a sensing distance of 9.5cm to 2m. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C and features a background/foreground suppression system with dual discrete output and IO Link TEACH mode for jam detection. This sensor is part of the Q5X series and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring easy integration. It offers a degree of protection of IP67, making it suitable for challenging environments. The supply voltage requirement is 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) window. Communication is facilitated via IO-Link protocol, and it features 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor / IO-Link). The light source is a visible class 2 red laser with a wavelength of 650 nm.
