Q256E Description

Banner Engineering Q256E is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an emitter alone within the Q25 AC series. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is housed in a thermoplastic material with a polycarbonate lens, ensuring durability. With a degree of protection rated at IP69K NEMA 6P, it is well-suited for harsh environmental conditions. The Q256E operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and offers a sensing distance of up to 20m. It utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm and boasts a rapid response time of 3ms / 0.003 s.
