Q20PDVSQ Description
Banner Engineering Q20PDVSQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C and features a diffuse (small spot) system with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. Part of the Q20 series, it boasts a rectangular shape and is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, offering a sensing distance of 250mm. The sensor emits visible red light at a wavelength of 660 nm and can operate in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. It provides a single digital output (PNP transistor) and responds in 0.8ms (0.0008 seconds). With a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal), it is designed to meet IP67 and NEMA 6 degrees of protection, ensuring durability in challenging environments.
