Q20NDVS W/30 Description
Banner Engineering Q20NDVS W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 degrees Celsius and features a diffuse (small spot) system with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. Part of the Q20 series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic body with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It has a sensing distance of 250mm and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, providing versatility in application. It features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.8ms / 0.0008 s.
