Banner Engineering PIR1X166UMHM.5 is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It is part of the Plastic fiber series, with a 0.25mm fiber core diameter and a 6ft / 2m length. The design incorporates a rectangular shape with the sensing end made of aluminium and the fiber sheathed in polyethylene (PE), ensuring compatibility with a variety of installation environments.
