PIR1X323T-VL Description

PULS PIR1X323T-VL is a redundancy unit featuring dual-input redundancy module capabilities with 2 x inputs and 1 x output, designed for DIN rail mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and utilizes diode technology. The unit is rated for a current of 20A at 28Vdc, with a derating to 0.5A between +55°C and +70°C. It offers screw-clamp connections for secure installation and measures W39mm x H124mm x D124mm. The supply voltage range is 9Vdc-35Vdc, supporting nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc systems, while the output voltage range is 12-28Vdc. Constructed with a polycarbonate (PC) housing, it provides short-circuit protection with a 26A threshold at 6V. The unit supports series/parallel operation for 1+1 redundancy and N+1 redundancy, allowing for parallel connection of two or more identical power supplies to ensure continuous operation in case of a single power supply failure. It features a peak inrush current of 42A at 230Vac input and 18A at 120Vac input, with power dissipation/losses at nominal load of 11.2W. Electrical durability is rated at 113,000 hours at 40°C for N+1 redundancy with 2x10A, and up to 874,000 hours at 25°C for 1+1 redundancy with 2x5A. The unit exhibits a ripple of 460mVpp across a frequency range of 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω.
