LX6E Description
Banner Engineering LX6E is a sensor array designed for standard-range part-sensing with a light screen cross-hatched array, functioning as an emitter alone. It features a 143mm array length and is housed in aluminum with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This rectangular sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc. The LX6E has a net height of 190 mm, a width of 26 mm, and a depth of 32 mm. It is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a sensing distance of 30cm to 2m. The sensor can detect objects as small as 9.5mm and is protected to a degree of IP65, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress.
