LT3PIQ Description
Banner Engineering LT3PIQ is a Class 2 laser photo-electric distance sensor/transmitter belonging to the LT3 series. It features a diffuse time-of-flight system with TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. The sensor emits visible red light at a wavelength of 658 nm and is designed with a rectangular shape, constructed from ABS housing with an acrylic window. It comes pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The LT3PIQ operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-24Vdc and offers protection functions against short-circuits. It is capable of sensing distances ranging from 30cm to 5m and provides both analog (1 x analog output 4-20mA) and digital outputs (1 x digital output PNP transistor). The device operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature of up to +50°C and is protected against ingress by its IP67 and NEMA 6 rated enclosure.
