LT3PILV Description
Banner Engineering LT3PILV is a Class 1 laser photo-electric distance sensor/transmitter belonging to the LT3 series. It features a retro-reflective time-of-flight system with TEACH mode and emits visible red light from a 658 nm wavelength source. The sensor is housed in ABS with an acrylic window, shaped rectangularly, and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates in bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-24Vdc and can function within an ambient air temperature up to +50°C. The LT3PILV offers protection against short-circuits and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. It is equipped with one analog output (4-20mA) and one digital output (PNP transistor), capable of sensing distances from 50cm to 50m.
