LT3NI Description
Banner Engineering LT3NI is a Class 2 laser photo-electric distance sensor/transmitter belonging to the LT3 series. It features a diffuse time-of-flight system with TEACH mode and emits visible red light from a 658 nm wavelength source. The sensor is housed in ABS with an acrylic window and is designed in a rectangular shape. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. The LT3NI operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-24Vdc and can function within an ambient air temperature up to +50°C. It offers a sensing distance range from 30cm to 5m and includes both analog (1 x analog output 4-20mA) and digital (1 x digital output NPN transistor) outputs. For protection, it features short-circuit prevention and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring its operation in various environmental conditions.
