LE550KQP Description
Banner Engineering LE550KQP is a Class 2 laser displacement sensor within the LE series, designed with a triangulation system and an LCD display for easy configuration through TEACH mode. It emits a visible class 2 red laser with a wavelength of 650 nm for displacement measurement. The sensor is housed in a rectangular, die-cast zinc alloy body with an acrylic window, ensuring durability. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for straightforward integration. The LE550KQP supports IO-Link communication protocol for enhanced data exchange and is equipped with protection functions against overload and short-circuit. It operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C. This sensor offers a sensing distance from 10cm to 1m and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 and NEMA 6, signifying its robustness against dust and water ingress.
