Banner Engineering EA5R900PIXMODQ-16118 is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, features a 900mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm within a sensing distance of 40cm to 4m. It offers high resolution with 180 beams at a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, ensuring precise measurements. The sensor is equipped with 2 analog outputs (4-20mA) and 2 digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for versatile connectivity. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is protected by an IP65-rated enclosure, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. The EA5R900PIXMODQ-16118 is designed for custom configuration and comes pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. It supports a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and utilizes the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol for reliable data transmission.
