EA5R900PIXMODQ Description
Banner Engineering EA5R900PIXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor (receiver alone) and is equipped with a 900mm array length capable of detecting object sizes between 5-10mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The sensor features two analog outputs (4-20mA) and two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. With a resolution of 5mm and a sensing distance ranging from 40cm to 4m, it is designed for precise detection tasks. The rectangular-shaped sensor is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). It supports the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol and is designed with 180 beams at a 5mm beam spacing/pitch for detailed sensing capabilities.
