Banner Engineering EA5R900NUXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This part of the EZ-ARRAY series functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor, operating solely as a receiver. It features a 900mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m, facilitated by 180 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch. For connectivity, it is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector and supports the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol. It offers two analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and two digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), operating within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C.
