EA5R600NIXMODQ Description
Banner Engineering EA5R600NIXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection, belonging to the EZ-ARRAY series, with a focus on measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensing as a receiver alone. This unit is encased in an aluminium housing, ensuring durability within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It features two analog outputs (4-20mA) and two digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), catering to diverse connectivity needs. The sensor boasts a 600mm array length, capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm, with a resolution of 5mm and a sensing distance ranging from 40cm to 4m. It is equipped with a pre-equipped 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). The EA5R600NIXMODQ supports Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, making it suitable for various industrial applications. Its design is rectangular, and it features 120 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, enhancing its precision in edge detection tasks.
