Banner Engineering EA5R300PUXMODSRLCQ is a sensor designed for edge detection, belonging to the EZ-ARRAY series, and is characterized by its aluminium housing. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. It features a 300mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm. The sensor provides 2 analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and 2 digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. Its rectangular shape and resolution of 5mm allow for precise detection, with a sensing distance ranging from 30mm to 1.5m. This model is specifically designed for short-range low-contrast measuring and functions as a light curtain array edge/profile sensor (receiver alone). It comes pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). The EA5R300PUXMODSRLCQ supports Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol and is structured with 60 beams at a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, facilitating accurate and responsive sensing capabilities.
