Banner Engineering EA5R2400NUXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor and operates solely as a receiver. It features a 2400mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m. It offers two analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and two digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), facilitating versatile connectivity options. The sensor is equipped with a pre-equipped 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and supports the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). With an IP65 degree of protection, this rectangular-shaped sensor ensures durability in various environmental conditions.
