Banner Engineering EA5R1800PUXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor and is specified as the receiver component. It features an array length of 1800mm and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m, facilitated by 360 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch. For outputs, it is equipped with 2 analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and 2 digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), supporting versatile integration into various systems. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, ensuring durability in diverse environments. Connection is made through a pre-equipped 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector, and it operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.).
