EA5R1800NIXMODQ Banner Electronic Components

Banner Engineering EA5R1800NIXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor and is specified as the receiver alone. It features an array length of 1800mm and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m. For outputs, it is equipped with 2 analog outputs (4-20mA) and 2 digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), supporting versatile application needs. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity and supports a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). Communication is facilitated via Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol. The sensor's design includes 360 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, encapsulated in a rectangular shape.
