Banner Engineering EA5R150PIXMODSRLCQP is an edge sensor with a rectangular shape, designed for short-range low-contrast measuring. It features an aluminium housing and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the EZ-ARRAY series and offers a 150mm array length with a resolution of 5mm, capable of detecting object sizes between 5-10mm over a sensing distance of 30mm to 1.5m. It includes 2 analog outputs (4-20mA) and 2 digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. The EA5R150PIXMODSRLCQP is equipped with a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. It supports a supply voltage range of 12Vdc to 30Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and utilizes the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol for data transmission. With a degree of protection rated at IP65, this sensor is designed for robust performance in various industrial environments. The device features 30 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, enhancing its detection capabilities.
