Banner Engineering EA5R150PIXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor and operates solely as a receiver. It features a 150mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m. It offers two analog outputs (4-20mA) and two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), facilitating versatile connectivity options. The EA5R150PIXMODQ is equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and supports the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is protected against ingress with a degree of protection rated at IP65. The supply voltage requirement is 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal.
