EA5R1500PIXMODQ Description
Banner Engineering EA5R1500PIXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor and is specified as the receiver alone. It features a 1500mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m. It offers two analog outputs (4-20mA) and two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. The EA5R1500PIXMODQ operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is protected against ingress with an IP65 rating. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The supply voltage required is between 12Vdc and 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. For communication, it utilizes the Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol. The sensor's design includes 300 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, encapsulated in a rectangular shape.
