Banner Engineering EA5R1500NUXMODQ is a sensor (Edge) with an aluminium housing designed for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. It features 2 analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and 2 digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. With an IP65 degree of protection, this sensor is built for durability in various environments. It has a 1500mm array length and can detect objects sized between 5-10mm. The rectangular-shaped sensor offers a resolution of 5mm and a sensing distance between 40cm and 4m. As part of the EZ-ARRAY series, it functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor (receiver alone) and is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The supply voltage requirement is 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.), and it supports the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol. The sensor features a dense configuration with 300 beams and a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, facilitating precise detection and measurement tasks.
