EA5R1200NIXMODQ Description
Banner Engineering EA5R1200NIXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection, belonging to the EZ-ARRAY series, with a main function as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor (receiver alone). It features an aluminium housing and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor offers 2 analog outputs (4-20mA) and 2 digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. It is protected to a degree of IP65, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The sensor has a rectangular shape with dimensions including a 1200mm array length, and it is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. Its sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m. The EA5R1200NIXMODQ is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and supports a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). It utilizes the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol and is designed with 240 beams at a 5mm beam spacing/pitch for precise detection.
