PULS CS5.243 is a DIN rail mounting power supply unit encased in an aluminium housing, designed for a single-phase network. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +70°C and has a net width of 32mm. The unit consumes 1.88A with a 120Vac input and 2.23A with a 100Vac input for a full 24Vdc output, featuring a peak inrush current of 56A at 120Vac and 47A at 100Vac. It boasts an efficiency of 0.9 at 120Vac input and 0.895 at 100Vac input. The dimensions are W32mm x H124mm x D117mm. It has a 120ms start-up delay and a rise time of 8ms under nominal input with a constant full current load without load capacitance, and 25ms with 5mF load capacitance. The CS5.243 includes protection functions such as output overvoltage protection, NTC for input inrush current limiting, and overload/short-circuit protection. It supports series or parallel operation for redundancy and is resistant to back-feeding loads up to 35V. Power dissipation is 13.5W at full output load with a 120Vac input, and the output stage capacitance is 1800µF. Its electrical durability ranges from 27,000 to 363,000 hours depending on the conditions. The ripple is 50mVpp, and it features a 20% power reserve. Part of the C-Line series, it includes a DC-OK relay contact output and screw-clamp connections. The supply voltage ranges from 90Vac to 132Vac, with a rated current of 6A at 24Vdc under 45°C and a rated power of 144W under 45°C. The output voltage is adjustable between 24Vdc and 28Vdc, with a 400mV turn-ON overshoot and a hold time of 78ms at 120Vac input.
