857-818 Description
Wago 857-818 is an analog transducer designed for temperature signal conditioning with a clipping circuit feature. It operates on a supply voltage range of 16.8-26.4Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and does not require an AC supply voltage. The device offers push-in CAGE CLAMP spring connections for easy installation and utilizes a DIP switch design for configuration. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. The 857-818 supports a control voltage labeled as "C" and communicates via an IP20 protocol. It is rated for an insulation voltage (Ui) of 6 mm and is suitable for mounting on a DIN-35 rail. The device's dimensions are H94mm x W6mm x D97.8mm, and it features 1 x analog input (RTD Ni100 / Ni120 / Ni200 / Ni500 / Ni1000) that is switchable between 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire configurations. It also provides 1 x analog output with multiple ranges (0-10mA / 2-10mA / 0-20mA / 4-20mA / 0-5Vdc / 1-5Vdc / 0-10Vdc / 2-10Vdc) and can handle a maximum continuous operating voltage (Uc) of 40mA at 24Vdc nominal load. The device is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity, without condensation.
