788-544 Description

Wago 788-544 is a plug-in relay assembly featuring push-in CAGE CLAMP spring connections. It is designed to handle a rated current of 16A continuously, with specific ratings for AC and DC applications including 3A at 240Vac (AC-15), 2A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and inrush maximum currents of 32A for 20ms and 24A for 4s in AC. The relay offers a socket base with a red LED indicator and an electromechanical design, recommending a minimum switching load of 12V / 10mA. It supports a 1C/O / SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) contact resistance, operates within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -40°C to +70°C, and provides a degree of protection rated at IP20. The control voltage (DC), rated voltage (AC), and communication protocol are all marked with a "C" specification. It features a rated impulse voltage (Uimp) of 4 kV, is designed for single-pole mounting on a DIN-35 rail, and has dimensions of H86mm x W15mm x D73mm, with a width of 15mm. The contacts are made of Silver-Nickel (AgNi), and it has a power consumption range of 0.9 to 1.1 times the control voltage (Uc) at a nominal 230Vac. The relay is capable of 10,000 operations phase-to-neutral and has a trip current rating for 5,000,000 operations.
