Wago 787-2850 is a compact switch-mode AC/DC power supply unit (SMPS PSU) designed for versatility and efficiency in automation systems. It supports both series and parallel operations, enhancing its adaptability to various electrical configurations. The unit features LED status indication for DC OK, ensuring easy monitoring of operational status. It utilizes push-in CAGE-CLAMP spring connections for secure and reliable connectivity. With a rated current of 1.25A and a rated power of 30W, it operates across a supply voltage range of 100-264Vac, accommodating multiple AC inputs such as 110Vac, 120Vac, 220Vac, 230Vac, and 240Vac. The power supply unit is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range for operation from -20°C to +70°C and for storage from -40°C to +85°C. It offers protection features including a T 1.25A / 250Vac internal fuse, hiccup mode, short-circuit, and open circuit protection. The unit's degree of protection is rated at IP20, and it has a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 36 mm. Its dimensions are H90mm x W36mm x D62mm, making it suitable for mounting on a DIN-35 rail. The response time is noted at 95ms (230Vac), and it operates within a frequency range of 47-63 Hz. Designed for single-phase AC (1AC) systems, it is part of Wago's Compact series and is set to be replaced by a 24Vdc (SELV) model.
