787-1216 WAGO AC/DC Power Supplies

Wago 787-1216 is a compact switch-mode AC/DC power supply unit (SMPS PSU) capable of both series and parallel operation. It accepts a supply voltage range of 125-375Vdc and 85-264Vac, including 110Vac, 120Vac, 220Vac, 230Vac, and 240Vac, with a rated current of 4.2A and a rated power of 100W. This unit features push-in CAGE-CLAMP spring connections for easy installation and is designed for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, with storage temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP20 and includes a T 3.15A / 500Vac internal fuse for control voltage (AC). The 787-1216 ensures constant power in the overload range of 1.05 to 1.35 times the nominal output current (Io nom) and includes protections against short circuits, permanent overload with shutdown and automatic restart, and open circuits. It is designed for mounting on DIN-35 rail or wall (screws) back/side, with dimensions of H90mm x W108mm x D56mm. The unit operates on a single-phase AC (1AC) or DC supply, with a response time of 50ms, and features a compact series design. It is set to be replaced by a model offering 24Vdc (SELV) and 22-26Vdc (adjustable) outputs. The power dissipation/losses are rated at 0.9 (230Vac) and 0.87 (110Vac), with an output error of less than or equal to 1%. The coating material is designed to withstand up to 95% relative humidity (RH), with no condensation permissible. The output voltage ripple is specified at 100mVpp.
