TI40EX Description
Turck TI40EX is an I/O unit from the excom series designed for the connection of temperature probes in hazardous areas, specifically for Ex zone 1 Class I Div 2 and Ex zone 2 Class I Div 2, ensuring ATEX compliance. This unit features a 4-channel analog input card that supports a variety of RTD and thermocouple types, including Cu100, Ni100, Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000 for RTDs, and types B, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T, U for thermocouples. It offers module rack plug-in connections for easy installation with a plug-in mounting mode. The TI40EX operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and has an IP20 degree of protection. Its dimensions are 18 mm in width, 118 mm in height, and 106 mm in depth. The unit supports multiple communication protocols, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, PROFINET, and PROFIBUS DP, facilitating versatile integration into various industrial automation systems.
