SI15-K30-VP6 Description

Turck SI15-K30-VP6 is a sensor designed for proximity detection with an inductive proximity slot sensor/switch function. It is part of the SI...-K30 series and features a special version design without an LED indicator. The housing and sensing face are made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0), and it comes with a PVC cable jacket. This sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connection. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. It offers a degree of protection of IP67 and has a 60mm thick rectangular body with a 15mm passageway. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a sensing distance of 15mm and a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The maximum switching frequency is 500Hz, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, and it offers operating modes of NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A.
