SCOL-0404D-1004 Description
Turck SCOL-0404D-1004 is a remote I/O controller within the piconet series, designed with auxiliary power and 2 fieldbus ports for CANopen. This part functions as a Piconet coupling remote digital mixed input & output module, featuring a fiberglass reinforced housing and metal connectors for durability. It offers connectivity through 4 x 5-pin M12 female connectors for I.O. ports, 2 x 5-pin M12 male and female connectors for FIELDBUS, and 2 x 4-pin M8 male and female connectors for voltage supply. The SCOL-0404D-1004 operates on a supply voltage of 20-29Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and is designed for surface mounting. It can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from 0 to +55 °C and is protected to a degree of IP67. The unit has a net width of 30 mm, a height of 210 mm, and a depth of 26.5 mm. Communication is facilitated via the CANopen protocol, with speeds ranging from 10kbps to 1Mbps. It features 4 x digital outputs (20-29Vdc / 500mA; short-circuit proof) and 4 x digital inputs (PNP / 20-29Vdc / 3ms input filter).
